The Weaverville Revitalization Plan was sponsored by a Community Development Block Grant from the State Department of Housing and Community Development and the County of Trinity.
The Plan has several purposes;
- To create a more attractive environment that will result in increased tourism and better serve the local population.
- To create a more uniform and unique identity that will result in a "sense of place" for the community.
- To increase the number of "gathering areas" that would result in higher frequency of utilization of the town.
- To create a safer pedestrian environment along Weaverville's Main Street, highway 299.
Weaverville Revitalization Plan AWARDED $28,754 GRANT- more details on the grant.
