Trinity County TOT Tax

The purpose of this webpage: To provide information about the Trinity County Transient Occupancy Tax. This tax is mandated to be collected as part of specific business activites in Trinity County related to tourism. This page contains links and some information about the process, and amounts collected in recent years.

The TOT tax funds collected are distributed to various groups that use the funds for specific purposes related to promoting tourism in Trinity County. The Trinity County Board of Supervisors decides how the procedes are divided, and who are the reciepients.

Readers of this page are encouraged to contact the Trinity County Board of Supervisors about giving consideration to updating and illuminating the process related to dispersement of TOT funds.
