Chocolate Dreams, Explanations, Addictions, Healings and Sex
Chocolate comes from the cocoa bean, there are many varieties from around the world. Like fine wine, there is a recognizable taste within chocolate.
Add some to a cup of coffee and it is now Mocha, or simple brew "Hot Chocolate" and add your favorite flavor liquor, cookie, mountains of whipped cream and you have the makings of a "memory" not a drink.
Chocolate is sweet, bitter, and all points inbetween. It is often called "rich", luckily for us, fine chocolate is still not very expensive.
Through the ages, Chocolate has been praised for it's medicinal value around the world. It is also touted as an aphrodisiac. Just ask all those overweight sexy folks that buy it!
One popular excuse for keeping some chocolate around the house is that it is full of anti-oxidant properties that automatically means that it is good for us. Green leafy vegetables can be dipped into it.
Chocolate has been shown to be an anti-depressant with ingredients that qualify it chemically. Clearly safer than some of the prescription drugs.
There are trace amounts of Magnesium in Chocolate too. This chemical is found in various medicines and even explosives.
Darker chocolates have polyphenols, the very same compound that is found in red wine, and promoted for heart healthy living by generations of Mediterranean Chocolate and Wine lovers. It tends to contribute to lower blood pressure too. Surveys show men tend to like dark chocolate more than milk chocolate.
Ofcourse let's not forget Milk Chocolate and White Chocolate that tend to be lighter in color, smoother and softer. Chocolate is often cast into a zillon shapes and sizes; Simple Bars, Teddybears, Coins, Soldiers, Santas, Easter Bunnies, Hearts, 4-Leaf Clovers, Holloween Treats, you name it!
Chocolate covered almost anything is bound to be good for you in moderation. Think of all the things hidden regularly under chocolate, raisins, malted balls, nuts, candy, strawberries, parts of lovers anatomy's, cookies, brownies, insects, artwork and more!
Chocolate consumption is rising about twice as fast as the population growth. Did you know that the largest exporter of chocolate to the United States is Canada?
Chocolate is at home at all social gatherings, we are used to wine tastings, olive oil samplings, and now do not be suprised to find yourself invited to chocolate tastings.
Let us not forget Valentines Day, a time to celebrate the addiction to chocolate, remember our true lovers, send gifts of candy, burried in and on cookies, and many special desserts all laced and manufactured with chocolate that can be personally delivered or sent by mail or express.
